Adelaide Design Week 2026 is a city-wide, independently curated program — exhibitions, talks, installations, workshops and collaborations across Kaurna/Adelaide. Expressions of interest have now closed — thank you to everyone who submitted.

The theme every*where [2025] has evolved into every*one — with a focus on people, movement, connection and the power of design to unite and strengthen. We welcome all interpretations, in all forms.

Who can apply?

Anyone working in design or related fields — individuals, studios, collectives, venues, organisations.

Do I need to be based in Adelaide?

No. But your project must take place in, and have a clear connection to Adelaide.

What can I submit?

Projects (exhibitions, talks, installations, etc.), offers to collaborate, venues, team involvement, or sponsorship.

Do I need a venue?

No. You can request help with venue matching; however, projects with confirmed venues may be prioritised.

Can I submit more than one EOI?

Yes. Submit each one separately.

What stage does my project / idea need to be at?

Any stage — concept to complete. It must be viable, and realistically and professionally deliverable by the program dates (14 – 18 October 2026).

How are projects selected?

Based on idea, relevance, feasibility, and how it contributes to the overall program. Assessed according to the T&C criteria by the ADW team and selected industry professionals.

What support do you provide?

Program inclusion (listing), promotion, and as needed — connections (venues, collaborators, etc.). Limited production or funding support is available at the discretion of the ADW team.

Is funding provided?

Generally, no. This is a platform, not a funding body.

What am I responsible for?

Delivering your project, insurance, install/de-install, and being available before, during, and after the event for contact and communications with the ADW team.

Can I charge for events?

Yes. You will be in charge of managing your own sales and systems if you choose to do this.

Does submitting an EOI guarantee a place in the program?

No. All EOIs are reviewed and assessed according to the T&Cs.

Can I update my proposal later?

Minor changes are fine. Major changes need approval.
