every*one
Adelaide Design Week recognises design as a fundamentally human practice — intentionally turning our attention to the people who think, question, design, make and participate in our design culture.
Design does not happen in isolation. It emerges through exchange: between people and place, thinking and making, disciplines and generations. Ideas are tested through conversation, collaboration, observation and disagreement. Knowledge is shared. Perspectives shift. Practice evolves.
The inaugural every*where in 2025 opened Adelaide's design community to the city — studios opened their doors, new spaces were occupied, ideas were shared and practices crossed paths. It revealed an appetite not simply to see more design, but to engage more deeply with the people and ideas shaping it. every*one builds from there.
In 2026 we turn our attention to one another: to the people behind, within and around design, and to what becomes possible through exchange. Across five days of exhibitions, talks, tours and public programming, every*one opens up the city as a place to encounter ideas, exchange perspectives and participate in design.
Grounded in South Australia and increasingly connected beyond it, ADW creates space for experimentation: for ideas to be tested, disciplines to intersect and new relationships to form.
